Where will the Indie Garage Sale be held?
- Utica, NY. Our last location was at the RCIL's Smith Center, on the corner of Scott & Genesee Streets. We are looking to have it there again!
When will the Indie Garage Sale take place?
- Our (tentative) date is Saturday, April 10th, from 10am till 6pm
What can I bring?
- We are looking for handmade items only. We do not allow resellers, unfortunately.
Is this a garage sale or a craft show?
- We are a craft show, made up of independent artists and crafters. Our name stems from the beginning days where we wanted to hold a garage sale and also sell our crafts. We no longer sell non-handmade items, however.
What types of items do sellers typically sell at your shows?
- We have so many different types of sellers who sell anything from screenprinted clothing to handmade soaps, mineral makeup, knit and crochet items, hand sewn clothing, plush monster dolls, photograph prints, original artwork, greeting cards, fun and funky jewelry, pottery, origami and so much more!
How big of an area do I get?
- Your booth area is 6'x6', and you can make a display within those parameters for your items. Wallspace is not able to be used, however.
Do I need to provide my own table and chairs?
- Yes. Any displays and seating is totally up to you! Also, you may want to bring a tablecloth as well as a sign to represent your business.
How much is the booth fee?
- Your fee for the day is $40.
How can I pay the fee?
- We accept PayPal.
When's the deadline to sign up?
- THE DEADLINE TO APPLY IS FEBRUARY 1st.
Can I split the booth fee with a friend?
- Sure! Just be sure to sign up with both of your information when you fill out the application.
