I have been making things by hand since I can remember. I learned how to sew early on in life and have continued creating pieces of functional art throughout my adulthood. I have tried my hand at a lot of different things including upholstery, costumery, and even Renaissance fare. As I have a strong respect for the environment and a desire to improve awareness about ecological issues, most of my pieces have a "green" imperative.

Amanda Preske is a jewelry artist who combines traditional techniques and funky materials to create a range of jewelry items. She uses bead weaving techniques to make intricate bracelets and necklaces, and uses recycled circuit boards and resin to make pendants. She also makes bracelets and earrings using glass beads, gemstones, and pearls.

All my glass is gleefully fused in one of 2 kilns in my home studio, as often as life with a toddler allows. Both kilns are digitally controlled, ensuring a properly annealed piece every time - meaning they're slow cooled for strength, durability, long life and much happiness.

Some prints are framed, others only matted, and are also hand printed onto clothing, bags, and patches, for a wide variety of prices.
